Favorites, to battle! - 8 - The Battle of Favorites! - 8

A normal draw, 2 external dragon dwellings, 3 Dragon Fly Hives, +3 speed on the respawn. I spawned on 123, right next to the exit - a Dragon Utopia with 50 efreets. That was the end of the good stuff (seriously, I haven't seen such a barren center in a very long time), so I had to break through to neighboring respawns. My opponent spawned in the third week, but with 12 black dragons. Meanwhile, the swamp respawn where Kirr had fled was also disappointing: one Dragon Fly Hive and one junk Dragon Utopia. I had to return home and take a triple Dragon Utopia - again with no stats, but with air control. Seeing that my opponent had no control, at the end of the third week I rushed to kill his growth on his main; with a bit of luck I gained +3 blacks (and killed just as many of my opponent's). I spent the entire fourth week building up gold at home - with external dwellings I gathered the same 12 pieces. Finally I had a tangible army advantage, and stalling further was dangerous, so I went on the attack on my opponent's main, where I caught him on 147.
