I think harpies would be a great fit, following the same scheme.

They were originally planned to be harpies, but since it's impossible to create decent harpies, we'll have to think of something else.

4) Don't you think that onyx elementals turned out to be a bit weak compared to lava elementals? They don't have that many stats or abilities. Maybe you could add a magic resistance aura and regeneration to them?

All creatures are calculated using a special calculator. However, when I rebalanced the elementals, I balanced them as fktifzobr suggested, not as I did last time. As for the aura: in my opinion, the elementals are already very good against chaos creatures because all creatures have at least 1 immunity, and if you add an aura as well...
