“Two Seasons: Winter-Spring 2016” Tournament. Online games for rating (reports, discussions).
Tried Inferno, the Cove is overpowered. Thanks for the game.
We played a full random game without restarts. My opponent decided to leave me with three Cove dwellings, probably thinking I'm a new player in this season, and I'm very grateful for that. The Cove is really strong, especially when you get two native heroes at the start. After clearing out the initial area, I went scouting and quickly captured a second Cove with 200 movement points left on turn 121. On turn 125, I found the last artifact for the AotD quest, and on turn 126, I assembled it, and then I met my opponent. After a little harassment with two mages using meteors, my opponent surrendered after I took the Castle. He was behind in both army and stats, and his artifacts weren't great. Thanks for the game. P.S. After reviewing the save, I was very surprised that my opponent with the Logistician didn't find the time to take back the Boots and Gloves (the Gloves were taken in the first week without any losses, and the Boots, with the horde of archers, were probably worth taking even with some losses).
