I decided not to add templates with ГО, I believe that playing mages there is quite difficult and a proper battle may not happen.
I left Smku, but the regular version - with passages to secondary towns costing 3k and mines of valuable resources, which will allow faster construction of the Mage Guild.
Also, do not forget that the tournament is open, and besides experienced players who prefer to play XL maps, there are players who like medium-sized maps.

Regarding the "Yolka" (Christmas tree) template, by default it is played on random (and there it gives 3 different factions). With a "cherk" (custom random template) - it will generate 3 identical factions for the player. There are enough resources on the map to build the Mage Guild, since quick contact on the template is inevitable, it is quite in line with the spirit of the tournament. Perhaps the template will appeal to some.
It is no secret that there are players who do not like Jebus Cross or 8mm6a, but these templates are present in almost every tournament.

That's not quite an accurate idea of the difficulty of the game in my opinion; in fact, it's easier to fight neutrals as mages, it's just a slightly different style - you can always dig up mom-and-dad with Earth magic or quickly rush to the Mage Guild for another element. Mages are usually not picked because of artifact restrictions and the need for combat skills in Fireball; mana reserve and good elemental spells give much more at the start. So by removing Jebus Cross and Mininostu (and by the way, leaving the same balance with ГО), I think you reduced the pool of viable templates. For example, I see my "cherk" in this pool as removing non-viable nonsense tested over the years and leaving the choice to an opponent who benefits more from randomness. Of course, you're the organizer - it's your tournament and your opinion, but it's worth considering another point of view.
