That can't be. In this mission, you shouldn't get into battles, but quietly go underground to the exit and kill only 1 last garrison (not very large). After that, an enemy hero will come, but he won't have such a huge army as you say. You probably did everything too slowly, and he had time to gather monsters.

I knew we were talking about different heroes. I checked again, went through the dungeons very quickly, and then a player with a similar army (a little less than 10 Archdevils) jumped out in my way. I managed to defeat him, although it wasn't really supposed to happen. With the remaining creatures (8 upgraded Hydras, 1 Matron, and as many as 335 Assassins (survived) plus a couple of Grim Riders from my companion and one extra Black Dragon from her), I managed to break through the garrison, losing only the Twilight Witch. And only then did that hero with an army that is simply laughable compared to the one I defeated appear =))). Now I have to defeat her with the remnants of my army. I will succeed; he's a total noob. It's a pity that the demons drain all the hero's mana, which makes it even more difficult)))
