Trading is skill #1 that should be prioritized for upgrading.

It's difficult for a Warrior to level it up properly; they have very few spirit runes, and they also need magic. It's not much better for a Mage. However, you don't need to rush too much; items won't disappear, and you can sell them later.

Trophies are just... a nice bonus and nothing more... There are more important skills.

Unless you're playing on "impossible" difficulty. Anything that brings in extra income is a must-have there.
