I understand that a regular pikeman won't have a shield at all? And will it only be available for the Dark Guard, or for the Altgreyd as well?

I think it would be good to add a shield to the unupgraded version, while the red one remains without a shield because a soldier with a shield and a spear looks normal, but a soldier with a two-handed mace and a shield looks strange.
