Are Psychology and Religion compatible concepts?

Thank you for helping me figure it out. I would boost Slonysh's morale if I could :) Regarding illnesses, believe it or not, I mainly treat myself with traditional medicine, including holy water. Except for very serious cases, like pneumonia.
