There are many objects on the map that provide bonuses to troops, but they are all small. At the start, I easily got the Pandora's Box artifact, which gives +5 experience with a passive ability, making it easy to carry. I started a bit late, but I doubt I could have started any faster. I didn't look for the Earth artifact with the slow spell, which was available in the guild. Instead, I immediately took what Derek offered. With some luck, I managed to establish myself in the center by the third week, but my opponent managed to clear the area a bit faster. He had a lot of ducks, as I later realized. He had a deadly stack, and I had nothing to counter it with... I had some hope for an experience-boosting berserker and managed to summon some weak creatures with the Armageddon's Blade artifact on level 820. But he had an expert in anti-magic...
