What are your arguments?

Beneath this wonderful country, where people choose their own laws, I still understand Russia. And now, I will ask you a question in return – are you serious? Look out the window; it will be more convincing than any arguments.
In a country where 2/3 of the population likes to drink, and 1/3 of them can get completely drunk, should they be allowed to carry firearms? Something that anyone can easily put in their pocket? Something that can kill a person with a simple flick of the finger? In a country where (besides Moscow, there are other cities, just so you know), sometimes you don't even want to walk through every courtyard in the evening, should people, who are not inherently kind, be allowed to carry weapons? It doesn't seem like a very good idea.
Perhaps, since you defend the opposite position, you yourself want to get a gun. To feel safe. Well, now no hooligans will bother you! No maniac will attack! What's more, go ahead and try to be rude to me in the store, saleswoman! But there is a small difference between "I have a gun" and "everyone has a gun." When you walk into an alley, or whatever scenario you choose, you will find not five people surrounding you with a beer, but five people surrounding you with guns. There is no need to even talk about maniacs and the like.
And I will say that I personally observed a gun owner on the street. In a state of alcohol intoxication. It was some kind of festive evening, and he was shooting at the asphalt with live ammunition, laughing wildly. How about that?
In short, it's the dream of 13-year-old schoolchildren who are bullied by older students.
