Are Psychology and Religion compatible concepts?

I expressed my personal view on faith in God in a separate thread, but in general, I believe in human potential, and I assure you that this has nothing to do with my profession. As for the second question, the answer is yes. Even the translation of "psychology" sounds like a science of the soul. In general, in theory, psychology is relatively little concerned with faith in the supernatural; it is more about the science of the human being, their experiences, and their relationships with others. By the way, there is a science about God called Theology, which, in my opinion, is a mixture of philosophy, psychology, and religion. So, I think psychology does not prevent a person from believing in anything. It is a completely different matter when this faith turns into a pathology, as I mentioned above.
