HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

As many have already noticed, a number of links on the HD website are not working. Dropbox blocked the distribution due to a large number of downloads. In this regard, the question is: where should I place the HD files, and especially the online update? Dropbox is very convenient for me: I just copy what I need into a folder in the file explorer, and the update becomes available. I thought: let me create a few Dropbox accounts. Then, when attempting an update, HD will iterate through each one in search of an available one. But it turns out that, starting from some year, Dropbox canceled the Public folder for new (free) accounts, all of whose content, including folders, is automatically shared, and all files are available via direct links, which is very important. Currently, the online update is also duplicated on the HD Google Site, but the Google Site does not provide direct links, so if the update goes through the Google Site, instead of the changelog, you see an error message. And in general, it seems that the update via the Google Site does not work for everyone. And for the new HD update system (which I probably helped to block my own Dropbox by testing), the Google Site will not be suitable at all (due to the lack of direct links). Maybe someone can suggest something free. So that: 1 - there are direct links to files; 2 - it is possible to upload a folder with files and subfolders in one operation; 3 - there are no traffic restrictions, or at least, when the limit is reached, the speed is simply reduced, and the content is not blocked.
