I almost flooded here :D
Anyway, we started after two rests by the opponent and one by me on the block.
On 111 I scouted the area. On the respawn there are two hives, 3 roads. Along one road, a village is already visible on the neighboring zone. Somewhere nearby there should be a native comp, but we never get to it :D. The starting army has no elves, but there is an external market. The respawn is on the edge of the map and is quite large. Anyway, it's tolerable, we play.
On 112 I took max crypt, and Kirya got Earth. Yeah, definitely need to play.
On 113 I took a village and an Inferno comp. There is no road to the native ramp.
The comp kills itself against the Castle, on 114 I find a path to the needed grass via wasteland. I decide to run there. The movement turned out to be negative. The scouting ultimately didn't go far, and it was too far to get to the comp's Castle.
I found a Griffin Conservatory with a stable there on 116, another Griffin Conservatory on 117, and took an external dwelling of Dendroids. Quite a bit of gold came in + the external market helped, so I built horses with the Castle and dwarf growth, and in Inferno - 1-4 in the Citadel.
On 121 I checked one Griffin Conservatory. 2-4, not suitable. From the stable I break through to the curiosities, buy a spell book. They only give skin... Dessa with the Inferno army broke through a portal to the next zone. There, a convenient scout shows the dangerous proximity of the opponent. And the zone is good, 5 curiosities, Pandoras + an alternate exit to the Griffin Conservatories.
On 122 I took two curiosities under the Castle, 12+4, I set up to break through. All resources are traded, gold is tight. The opponent, on their turn, moves towards that scout with an Angel using a scout. Nearby stands another scout with 3 Black Knights.
123 - nothing to do, I go to chase them off. Along the way I took another curiosity for 8 Vivi. Both heroes are bought back, the Angel didn't get erased. I plan to run to the Griffin Conservatories.
Then Clavius showed up.
124 - attacking with the horse was inconvenient, the army doesn't seem particularly impressive: 250+ Skeletons, 1-4 Angels, those same 3 Black Knights, and a few single Skeletons. My stats are higher, but only 11 mana points. Well, what can I do, I have 24 Vivi. We attack.
For some reason, there turn out to be 420 Skeletons and 4 Angels :D Plus +1 speed. And I, like a loser, have Expert Earth but no Slow or Shield.
Besides Vivi, my army has 21 Elves, 22 Gogs, 6 Unicorns, a dozen Pegasi, 30 Centaurs, 6 Dendroids, a Tent, and a Ballista.
Anyway, everyone dies in the battle :smile08: The opponent buys back with a couple dozen Skeletons and an Angel. I'm left with 7 Elves, Pegasi, Gogs, 1 Unicorn, and 7 Demons that didn't participate in the battle.
I probably should have killed the Angel at any cost. On the other hand, it's good that I survived at all :D
Next, I think I'll still go for the native comp.
On 125 I advance through wasteland, and very successfully. I didn't reach the town, needed one more day, but I visited a Garden of +1 Knowledge, replenished mana at the well to 60, took +2 Attack in the Arena, and blocked the comp's main army.
Furthermore, I leveled Dessa a bit and freed the native hero with a small number of Centaurs and Dwarves.
Clavius, on the other hand, can't wait to get another beating from Kirya :D He runs at me...
I have to abandon the comp, break through, return the army, and attack. In there - 100 Skeletons, 4 Liches, 6 Vampires, an Angel.
I won the fight, of course, thanks to the shooters on 90 and the wicked Ballista, but was left with 8 Gogs, 4 Demons, 8 Centaurs, and 1 Dwarf :D The opponent bought back with an Angel and a Lich.
And on the opponent's turn, I made two catastrophic mistakes. First, Clavius attacked me with 7 Zombies. Somehow I thought he would definitely flee, so I didn't kill him. Even though I could have. Then Nagash attacked. I somehow thought he definitely wouldn't kill me, even if he had somehow upgraded GM2 and got a wave there, but that was a miscalculation :D If he had had shooters, I'd probably have lost. But he didn't have shooters :D
This attack completely finished off the Necro economy, so from then on it was hopeless (I could have brought some little things, and there was over 10k gold), and the opponent understands that.
Thank you for the game.
