In my opinion, it's easier to learn to play this instrument than others. At least, that's how it was for me. As for learning, you can even do it at home. I have a friend who didn't go to music school, but he plays guitar solos quite well. When it comes to the instrument itself, it's more complicated than it seems at first glance. I only recently learned about the differences between synthesizers, and it's not just about the set of functions or the sound, but also about the keys. Some of them are similar to those on a real piano, i.e., they are heavy and you need to press them harder. There are also light/plastic ones, which are usually cheaper. Personally, I played the piano, and I would be more comfortable with heavy or semi-heavy keys, but such a synthesizer costs 20k+ rubles, so... You can really try something simpler, especially since you might not like it. And finally, about finding an outlet during the game. Personally, I think that music can bring peace, create a certain balance within a person, and help them understand themselves.
