Mafia 101. Disputed Island

Sesam, there’s a whole series of these stories. Geographical locations certainly have their prototypes, but there are too many of them.

I’ve only found this about traveling by water so far. Although, I have a feeling that we should be looking not at the prototypes of the locations, but at various islands associated with books or movies. I’ll try to search for that now, but knowing myself, I think it’s a pointless task.

This also supports the idea that the newspaper’s name and the picture of Jason’s mask suggest that the maniac used his ultimate ability, and there weren’t many reasons to do it on the second night. Although... Someone from the urban group was complaining about feeling unwell, right? Or was the maniac telling them from the bushes that he wasn’t feeling well? :D

Actually, you’re probably right. I initially thought that “balance” referred to a 1:1 parity in recruitment, but now I think that the maniac definitely used his ultimate ability. But on the second night? Someone is in a hurry... to balance the balance.

I had a crazy thought... Master, could the maniac use his ultimate ability to recruit? Or is he only allowed to use the non-ultimate abilities from the list of actions for his ultimate?

Even if he can, what’s the point of recruiting fighters for the Mafia?

There’s no poll from the old woman; maybe she was polling Ment or Heroist. Master, can Rick’s stunning attack interrupt the old woman’s poll, or is it considered a block?

In theory, Heroist’s poll would have appeared – the murder happens after the poll. So, either the poll went to Ment, or Rick interfered, or someone pretending to be Rick, for example, the maniac.

Master, how does the maniac’s ultimate ability work?
If he orders, for example, a murder, will it be placed in the queue where the ultimate ability is (zero priority), or where the original murder order is (from the 13th position)?
Can the maniac use his ultimate ability on an action assigned to the role of “Maniac”?
