My logic was that the Mafia only has one kill among all their possible actions. And I was very afraid of a murder with a planted clue, because it messes up all the cards. Since the block was placed on Drakkosha by the infected, it could only have been done by Kane. And if he placed the block, he couldn't kill or infect. The clue is not planted; that's the most important conclusion. I don't know what planted clues look like, but I assume that a murder can also be described as being committed by someone else.
