There's too much unnecessary code on the front page, and it won't be possible to have clean code for this forum engine – so that it can actually look good.
It’s better to create the table in Dreamweaver; it allows you to make any design while getting rid of extra code. You can use a very functional and simple code editor like RJ TextEd to clean things up. Here is an example of how it looks: here
