Windows 10 and Heroes 3 – anyone know how to make it work? Help!

Basically, I installed Heroes 10 (W10) the other day. The game launches, but as soon as I click on the online game TCP/IP, some kind of sound plays (presumably an error), and the game simply closes. The Heroes version is working. I uninstalled Hamachi, and it doesn't help even without it. I can't play my favorite game! Help, maybe someone knows what's wrong.
The error message is: DirectPlay Error
