Regarding the Online Hall (even in a perfectly refined and implemented version within the SoD), I would say that it's a good safety net for those who play casually and those who join late. But making it mandatory is not ideal, as it often leads to wanting to just move around the map and chat with opponents.

Just wait until the Online Hall ends, and then you can chat!
But it can be implemented on any template – even on Xeen (a day before the restart meeting, otherwise it's a boon for the blue player, as by moving around, they can either avoid a rematch if it's not beneficial, or force it when it is) and on subjective restart matches, it will still be quite profitable. :)

The main thing is that it will become possible to create a full-fledged tournament in terms of the bracket, and not like now – lose once, and your chances of getting 1st place are ruined.
