With the current system requirements and 3D enhancements, the game will definitely suffer. The problem is that excessive visual appeal and turn-based strategy are fundamentally incompatible. The main strength of the Heroes series has always been, and should remain, the diversity of mythological characters and the strategic implementation of random scenarios. Everything else is a distraction. The absolute maximum would be an isometric view like in the fourth installment, or pseudo-3D (and even at the time of the fourth game's release, there was the possibility of implementing an engine with full camera rotation, but the talented developers understood its inappropriateness in a purely logical game).
