Opponent spent 2 restarts, I was about to take a restart myself because along my path there were 10-19 Cerberi (turned out to be 18) guarding the external market and a flail +4 attack, but I spotted an external dwelling of ogres. I captured it, took the ogres, visited the stables, and went to fight. It was painful, 3 ogres died, a few goblins too. But still manageable. Could immediately see the portal near the orcs... decided not to go there yet, went to check the second passage. On 112 there was another reason for a restart (lots of blockers, no money, nothing much to fight), but I revealed boots under a horde of Dendroids. I was still thinking about a restart because overall it looked difficult, though pleasant, but then the scout hero pulled another pair of boots from a wagon... Decided to play.
On 113 I broke through to the computer, but the computer pulled off something completely childish, leaving me with 2 Rocs (what a great army). I thought if the computer attacked, it would definitely wipe me out and also have a chance to take my mine. The computer didn't attack – I took its Castle and revealed an external dwelling of Master Griffins, under 10-19 Basilisk eyes... I placed the Master Griffins, saw an external dwelling of Gnolls – okay, I have something like a strike stack and something like units for chaff. 115 – I'm running around with 8 Master Griffins collecting crypts in the swamp. 116 I sent Master Griffins for money, but the chests turned out to be small. And all across the respawn there are blockers (a crowd of Cerberi, Mages...). Fine, 117 I broke through the orcs – another joy – sand, more cross-country, fine, forget about Manticores, I placed Harpies in the Citadel.
On the second week I reached the Rampart computer and finally placed Manticores in the Castle on 127. During this time I revealed 3 Dragon Fly Hives, but the guards were... A block in the center road – Bone Dragons, in the treasure zone off-road a Dragon Fly Hive was visible under 100-249 Water Elementals, I also saw an external dwelling of Manticores (the Manticores were being built for that). I saw there were Swordsmen, but couldn't reveal how many. I reached it – a horde, plus there were piles of resources and a Mill, but only the scout hero with Pathfinding could reach them... I thought, realized things were bad, but no reason to give up, so I turned around.
The 3rd week was no less depressing. All artifacts I revealed were either quest artifacts, or bags of gold / Amulets of Diplomacy, etc. Crag Hack, who arrived from the second week, was running around stat-boosting locations and leveling up wherever he could (well done, took Armorer and Earth Magic). He entered the treasure zone from Rampart (cross-country again, swamp). On 135 the army was simply incredible... (9 Harpies, 9 Griffins, 3 Manticores, 13 Master Griffins). I saw a Griffin Conservatory + a level 5 spell scroll. I captured it – a level 2 Griffin Conservatory, a Fire Call scroll, and also a Dragon Fly Hive was revealed nearby (+8 Griffins), I took that too. 137 I captured an external dwelling of Red Dragons and took one Dragon from the Refugee Camp.
141... I realize everything is terrible, but the opponent still hasn't entered the center. 142 I chain-capture a Griffin Conservatory and a couple of Dragon Fly Hives, bringing me to 5 Angels, 29 Griffins, 3 Manticores (not enough money to build Manticores from the dwelling) + a stack of Master Griffins. I see the opponent is standing near a Dragon Utopia and there are 2 stacks of 5-9 Angels revealed there. 143 I take a Dragon Utopia in the swamp with Crag Hack (level 1 – Admiral's Hat and a Crown) and plan to retreat towards my corner (the roads were long and the guard in the corner was unpleasant, so I couldn't reach it earlier). On the way to the Dragon Utopia, I broke through a block of 10-19 Bone Dragons with Deessa (for a Sphere of Air + an obelisk) and sent the scout hero there. On 144 the scout hero told me: "there's a Dragon Utopia, 2 Griffin Conservatories, and a Dragon Fly Hive – forget the corner – eat while the opponent doesn't." 145 I take down a Dragon Utopia, a Dragon Fly Hive, and 1 Griffin Conservatory (in the Dragon Utopia there was КЗ, but Deessa has no Earth Magic, and Crag Hack with 1 Knowledge – not a great idea to fight him now, though still not bad; the army is growing, there's money, there's 1 element of control). Meanwhile, Crag Hack consumed another Dragon Fly Hive. So now I have 40 Griffins, 7 Angels – surviving for now. I sent the scout hero for a small dwelling, while Deessa went for the Griffin Conservatory, took it (level 3) – saw a Shield +4 (Hurray!!! stats!!! now I have not only the flail and crown, but also a shield! :smile23: ) – I took the shield and behind it a Dragon Utopia was revealed + a Helm (+5) under 5-9 Chaos Dragons. Gotta take it. I took it – level 2. It gave me a level 5 hat and also a Shield +12 – full control :smile47: )) – behind the Dragon Utopia I see another Dragon Utopia. OK, Dimension Door there – it's a КВ and a Booster. Behind this Dragon Utopia I see another one – OK – another pile of money, Gladius, Wings. I see that despite the opponent's Archangels being visible since 143, he's still running around his corner. I decide to close in.
211 – 212 I take Dragon Utopias, Griffin Conservatories, replenish mana, gather troops, boost speed, take Naga Banks. 213 – I fly to the opponent's mine, take it over, get 20 Archangels = profit. 214 I scout Marusya with the army using a scout hero, grab a couple of Griffin Conservatories (both turned out to be level 1), a Dragon Fly Hive, upgrade Griffins (58 Griffins), take Nagas, fly with Deessa using two Dimension Doors to the opponent = GG.
Thanks for the game)
I don't know how to enter the center when I should)) Though the army was pretty decent)) Thanks for the game. My own fault for the loss
