I don't want to make any definitive statements, especially since I can say that I didn't really study in school, but I will still give an example of some observation.
Tenth grade, English lessons: students sit and chat with the teacher about life, and this goes on throughout the year. The teacher simply doesn't want to teach anything.
Ninth grade, physics lessons: students shout, throw paper, stick chewing gum on the teacher's chair, etc. In such a situation, conveying information, as well as its perception, is absolutely impossible. Of course, these students are animals, but at the same time, it can be said that the teacher lacks the necessary skills to conduct lessons in such a school (and there are many of them).
Physical education: the teacher just sends the students to play football and basketball, and sulks during breaks.
Eleventh grade, when I was in home schooling: the English teacher never showed up at my house (although he was supposed to, and received a bonus for it), but he gave me a failing grade in my certificate.

In the case of coaches, there is only one difference, which is that they work in a private company, and no one will keep bad employees, but at the same time, this does not exclude the possibility that the training methods of certain representatives of this profession are far from a high level, and the possibility of irresponsible attitude to work is far from zero.
