God... Truth or fiction?

It recently dawned on me (yes, I'm slow, I know) that our argument is turning from a collaborative search for a solution (the positive side of the argument) into a contest of wit – who can better prove their point. I would be happy if someone told me that I am wrong. As proof, I will accept words stating that someone changed their opinion on the issue of God after reading this thread...
