How much time has passed since Hoster discovered the forty-fifth Mafia game? Three and a half years. And around that same time, I started playing League of Legends. I don't remember if it was because of advice from Hoster/Loken, or if I downloaded and started playing on my own after seeing the Mafia game, but in principle, it doesn't really matter.
Statistics
Normal Games
1618 wins and ~1470-1500 losses. Played mostly for fun.
Ranked
Second season: only 3 games played, roughly when I started playing.
Third season: ~100-150 games. Played Yorick, Elise, Vladimir the most.
Fourth season: played solely to get the reward skin (which I didn't even end up using). ~30 games total, 13/4 Katarina, other champions played about once each; picked some just to avoid decay.
Fifth season: 204 wins, 170 losses. My most active season. Reached Platinum at one point, then Diamond, and stopped playing. Most played:
3.43:1 KDA (8.7 / 5.5 / 10.2) /// 62% Win Ratio /// 36 wins, 22 losses.
3.37:1 KDA (6.6 / 3.6 / 5.5) /// 50% Win Ratio /// 21 wins, 21 losses.
3.48:1 KDA (12.6 / 6.4 / 9.7) /// 66% Win Ratio /// 27 wins, 14 losses.

Conclusion
Time
Now I've stopped playing for certain reasons, but you don't need to be a math expert to understand that I spent quite a bit of time on this game. I didn't play for months at a stretch, but rather "periodically," sometimes with breaks of up to six months.
Favorite Role
Probably top and mid equally. Playing ADC is also enjoyable, but less so than the ones mentioned above, not least because you depend too much on your own teammate or their opponent, and interference from other lanes.
I don't like jungle, but occasionally I have fun playing it.
Support: Of course, I won't deny its contribution to achieving victory, however standing in a bush and being a ward-placer isn't for me.
Assessment
Surprisingly, League of Legends is an excellent game in its genre and a great way to kill time. Or even escape life – here you can always talk to people who are willing to chat with you, who will definitely tell you about your family and wish you cancer.
An anti-fan moment lies in the necessity to level up your account, buy runes, and champions. They are acquired using in-game currency, not real money, but it still takes time. However, this only applies to newcomers, as older players (like me) do not face such problems.
Favorite Champions

Skins
There's this thing that doesn't affect the gameplay and is only bought with real money. In general, they aren't necessary, but many people (including me) are drawn to them by their beautiful pictures and in-game effects.
Some of them were gifted by a friend, and several more were obtained for free (Wildfire Zyra, Victorious Morgana, Victorious Elise, Captain Gangplank).
Observations
Elo Hell
There's a common belief that people can't climb the ladder because they have a low rating and are matched with trolls/noobs/AFK players in their team. If you rephrase it, it means "I should actually be Gold/Platinum/Diamond, I just get bad teammates!".
This is nonsense. Of course, many games are lost because someone on your team loses their lane, throws the game, etc., but it's important to understand that you're playing a multiplayer game, and everyone faces the same situation, not just you. Similarly, you win some games because the opposing team is in such a situation. Based on my observations, if you play above the mentioned league (for example, Platinum plays in Silver or Gold), then sooner or later you will reach your deserved place. That is, when you play against weaker opponents, you yourself often "carry" the game, while when you play at your level, you hold your own, occasionally dropping slightly and rising.
I never make mistakes
Most players have this attitude. Seriously. Any lost game is not his fault, and if he makes a mistake, it's because the opponent was lucky (you can also write in chat that the internet lagged). Although in reality, everyone has "bad" games, plus you need to take into account the fact that sometimes players of different levels (or different specialties; for example, a support-obsessed player ends up mid) face each other.
At the same time, if your teammate makes a mistake, they are a degenerate, and their mother is a prostitute.
I'm not sure if I can say that I've "mastered" the game, but does it really matter?
