The situation here is not so straightforward – some people (even on our forum) had a fairly positive attitude towards Yeltsin. I meant that mourning for a well-known and, according to a significant group of people, good person (and what if he really was a good person? Let's say he was some kind of artist? Recently, there was the anniversary of Tarkovsky's death, and his day of passing truly deserves mourning) is better than mourning for completely unknown people (how do you know they were good?). Although, the funeral for Yeltsin was indeed overblown.
