Gland is a town and municipality in the Nyon district of the French-speaking canton of Vaud. The official language is French, although the town has a population of 10,775 (as of 2005) and is home to 80 nationalities. The town is home to the headquarters of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, the Ramsar Convention, and the World Wildlife Fund.
