I couldn't reproduce the bug. The game continued normally with NEWGAME.GM2, with Overlord Heroes (OH) on both sides. In any case, it was possible to continue playing without OH.
It's a pity that the autosave with heroes in the wrong place was overwritten by the subsequent game.
Ideally, there would be daily saves from both sides so we could see what the incorrect locations of the blue hero's units were in the autosave.
