In principle, it could be, but the connection is too long, IMHO.

I think you can shorten it somewhere after Rembrandt, with directors or a book/movie, but I couldn't figure out how.

I got a little confused about the second clue.

Kalan - Canada - Vancouver - "a r v e n k u v"
although I haven't been able to return to Kalan yet.

I remembered that Nephela also had one transition between Kalan and Vancouver. I have this: Kalan - British Columbia - Vancouver, although I also couldn't return to Kalan.
