Great comparison! No, Melian is an elven queen (a Maia) from Tolkien's Dorias. Character traits: insightful (prophet), authoritative (not very strong). Melodia, however, sounds a bit unconvincing. You could come up with a new character with a more authoritative name, or rename Melodia at the coronation, or leave Melodia, which you will probably do.

Melian is really something like Korak. Just as Korak was supposed to be on Terra, so Korak is on Enroth. And that, by the way, is an idea. The Guardian Melian woke up /insert reason/ and became the king of Aquilon.
