Start on "Hero".

I always play on random maps without water (I have to play very often to test the NHF mod). I advise you to remove water in the generation settings and avoid putting yourself in dead-end situations.

I didn't choose water, but I created a map with it because I really don't like these sharply divided biomes (like, there's snow all around the city, you break through the neutrals, and suddenly it's summer).
