Yeah, Sylph will recognize nicknames. I actually hadn't thought about how to display Neutral Defense spells targeting him, but if we're talking about nicknames, it definitely shouldn't be done that way.
Blocks will be displayed, but Mafia defenses will be displayed without nicknames, so as not to reveal the target of the defense. However, the defender can be identified by the block, if necessary.
