It’s quite difficult to say for sure… It seems like Necropolis, especially with Orneilla or Lucretia specializing in vampires, would be a good choice. But it also depends on the map. If the map is huge, then mages with their mini-artifacts are overpowered. Knowing where to find around 40 units allows you to turn them into terminators and gain a +40% initiative bonus right away. Of course, with the presence of an artifact shop, there will also be regular artifacts that boost initiative. And if you play as the Hive, which casts spells like crazy, then you get an incredibly powerful combination.
