1st round.
Setup a-la linear heroes. On the way to the center and not too far from it, 4 Griffin Conservatories for 7 angels, 2 Dragon Fly Hives max, Golden Bow, Shackles. Sir Mullich with stables and a tavern. First week killed two computers. On the second week, gathered all the goodies via chain and went to the opponent. Things were not great there.

Nothing worthwhile worked out except Galthran from the start. In the native treasure zone, a block of efreeti on the road, the central adjacent zone is swampy, not much room to run around. In the first week, I took over the dungeon, plugged minotaurs into the Citadel after zeroing out my resources, and on the second week, after raising a hundred skeletons and taking a single Griffin Conservatory, I headed to the center hoping to find objects. That's where I was met by Mullich. Thanks for the game.
