How did you manage to get out to sea? I have a ship near my city, but I can't get on it.
I replayed 3 maps, and now I don't have "Summon Ship" learned , and I can't escape by ship now :smile35:. For now, I'm using the "Illat's Gaze" spell, or something like that, just to see where the colorful "crows" are.
Now I don't even know how to get out of my Castle and sneak past the colorful crowd waiting for my performance :smile19:.
There's a trick with climbing the hill near your Castle; a couple of colorful creatures will immediately fly after you – let them get closer, then you can use "Return to Town." You can try this with a hired friendly hero; if they chase him, you can quietly sneak into the desert, although there might be others waiting there too. So far, I've only found one hiding place – near the blue city of the Anima clan.
The second hiding place is in the desert, relatively close to Art-Malik's Castle, near the stables. You can learn the spell to summon a ship not far from these two objects; it's on the edge of a cliff, near the coast.
I managed to capture the yellow city, not far from the starting city, near the city with the seal that prevents further progress; I need to find the Dragon Sanctuary.
For now, the hiding tactic and battles with minor princes are helping to gain experience and replenish my army.
I reached the garrison in the desert; behind it are gates with gargoyles. According to the instructions in the animation, they need to be destroyed – but how?! I went through the gates, explored the canyon on the left, and ended up against a cliff; there's no way through. Where do I go next? How do I break the gates with the gargoyles to open the path to the south? Malik can barely crawl through the canyon...
I finished the map. The gates with the gargoyles will fall after the castle in the main quest is captured. I took this castle without much difficulty; there was no hero in it, and a weak supporting hero was standing in front of the castle. You can reach the aforementioned castle by taking the left main road after passing the garrison. I also captured the yellow castle along the way, then had to destroy it a little because the reinforcement summon wasn't working due to the presence of a portal in the nearby castle. As for the canyon, you should only go there after the sheriff's castle in the main quest is captured. There are no bonuses in the canyon, only wasted time; Malik moves very slowly there. There's also no point in going through the dragon seals or capturing all the enemy castles, unless it's to replenish your own troops and gain experience; it might be worth having a couple of good battles. I only fought once against a strong opponent – Myrim (he was already at a low threat level); Malik was level 19, and he was level 21. I took artifacts from him and replenished my army with 900 skeletons, but he killed all my 40 spiders and about a hundred banshees :smile06:.
Good luck with the walkthrough :smile13: :smile49:!
The 5th map is easier than the 4th. Now I need to develop Karnu :smile11: :smile19: :smile02:
