I decided to play this scenario. I'll immediately describe what I liked and what I didn't.
Overall, it turned out to be very interesting, but the difficulty fluctuates too much. I started with a hero, and almost without losses, I managed the first month, then went down to the dwarves, and there it was a nightmare. In the struggle for the first Castle, I lost everything (if I had known that the army could only be replenished by buildings, I would have captured it, but since there were huge hordes there, I was too lazy). I was left with 20 Incas, I withstood the first siege, but the second one was hopeless. The saves are far back. I started over with a warrior. And then I already read the forum, took Dungeon, and everything became too easy.
But here's the problem that made me write this, and even register. I cleared the Dungeon, I'm taking the rune back - when I'm approaching the first portal (to Arantir), a knight hero appears - and the game freezes, that's it, I'm done playing =(. Some control elements work, but I can't do anything, the turn doesn't start. And if this is an unknown bug, then I'm just curious - how did it all end? I would like to continue the Campaign (Unicorn Empire).
By the way, I decided to play this scenario because it is advertised as a prologue to a large campaign, and I needed one while they are patching the 7th one. The question is - how is the campaign itself? Is it in the same style or closer to the original? Because it's boring to accumulate 100 resources, etc. =
