Started in the underworld on a not-so-great respawn with no money and a single, very long road leading to the center. I didn't take a rest because of two native heroes and Dessa, who was leveling up magnificently with an air-earth tactic. There were two external dwellings of Medusas and one of Troglodytes, and that was it. However, 3 Necros came in with 2 gem mines — that would have been a decent split. I retrained Slow on one of them. On turn 116, I broke through to the center past 90 Archers. On my turn, the opponent also entered the same area via wasteland. He killed Kyrre on a Fly without stats on the initiative (I assume that was his main). I placed Medusas in the Citadel, but didn't have enough money or sulfur for anything else. On turn 121, the opponent pushed forward with all the power he had bought up. After trading everything, I took a growth boost and captured the Dwarf Cottage. We expert-leveled Wisdom, Earth, and Air — Advanced would have been butter. I attacked a zero-level Gurnison first with the Necro via Wave, then with Dessa. In the FB, a stronger hero decided the outcome without any alternatives. Thanks for the game.
