Why... if everything is already planned out, shouldn't we just ignore everything else? Let's say I've fully upgraded Nature. I gain a new level... but I'm not offered any Order skills. And if I already had one skill slot filled with something from Order, it would be easier! I agree that this slightly weakens the hero at the beginning... it spreads their experience too thin. But you really can't rely on randomness. And what if a very serious game is ahead?
No, I'm talking about something else. If there's only one magic school, you can choose specific skills to develop. If there are two magic schools, the choice often leads to developing the wrong skills.
For example, if I'm developing Order magic, but I don't need Charm, I have more choices when I gain a level because I'm only offered skills from the Order school. It becomes problematic to develop the desired magic in the right direction if you also have another school (especially on small maps). :smile23: :smile23: :smile23:
