Inferno – “Angel, angel, burning fear” [Campaign 5 – Mission 1]

Hello, I'm playing on a difficult level and can't win the battle for Azkaal. Perhaps this is because I spent a lot of time exploring the map and it took me about 6 months to reach the end? Did everyone have 248 Destroyers and 1120 Cerberuses in their army?
