Appeals Committee. Disputed situations in tournaments.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all participants in the discussion for their active stance and fight for justice.

Justice has prevailed; the Arbiter reinstated me in the tournament.

The main goal of my complaint was to prevent such a situation from happening again with other users of the site. I think the Administration will work on ensuring that arbitrariness by organizers or judges has no chance of existing.

Hmm... but you say that issues cannot be resolved without arguments...

For example, they didn't include me in "Favorites," which I was really looking forward to, citing /topic/10012/ as the reason, which Pete apparently came up with specifically for me so there would be a reason to refuse. Well, I wasn't particularly upset about it because I was told that the more noise there is on the forum, the worse it is for me.

So now the question is, should I also file an appeal against this decision (which Pete made unilaterally, as far as I understand) since, after some time, I should have been granted amnesty. Yuri has 2 yellow cards, and no one can deny him participation in the tournament based on these grounds.

In general, IMHO, it’s nonsense to deny participation without explaining the reasons. There are at least 3 people who support the tournament; 2 of them are almost always available. Decide among yourselves who and why to refuse, and that's all...
