I'm too lazy to level up a random hero just for one battle. I would just equip him with Cursed Armor and the Sphere of Inhibition and kite the Minotaur archers, while quickly eliminating the Tower units with Cyclops.

But where can you get the Sphere of Inhibition so quickly? I don't remember.
And after the Minotaurs, there are about 10k +/- depending on the time.
On the Cursed Land, resurrection won't work, and losing a lot of units, especially before the battle with the Ashwing, is very unpleasant.
As a result, I bought some cheap archers that I didn't mind losing and completed the map without losing any of my main troops (not even one). And it's not that difficult to level up there; you just buy Uland, run around the huts and stones, then get free upgrades, and kill neutral monsters with him – the months or quarters that are far away somewhere don't matter and won't give the main hero any experience. You don't need to level him up much – just max out archery, defense, and earth magic, and that's it. The lower his stats, the longer the battle with the Minotaurs will be.

I could approach Drakarosh and defend myself there against Yorogos with an army of snipers + fanatics + cyclops + archers (I gave the champions to another hero; they only get in the way in this battle). I divided the snipers separately into 20 (to kill the ballista) + 50 (to kill the catapult) + 2 equal groups. In the first turn, the machines, red dragons, and cyclops die from the archers (the Thunderbirds are blinded), and that's it... the battle is won without losses because the rest can't hit anything behind the archers.

Yes, but I eliminated the Cyclops right away, and the archers charged into the catapult, and I didn't divide the units at all, only had to take some damage from the red dragons – they charged in a bit damaged, and not into the archers or snipers, but into some useless meat that was replaced anyway...
