If the captain's task is to choose the team and provide some general tips on selecting a map against a specific opponent, does it really take much time?

But if the captain is expected to participate (on TV or via Skype) in all of the team's games, providing guidance, then yes, it requires a lot more time, and essentially the team's performance may not differ significantly from the captain's own skill level.

Am I understanding Nitro's view of the captain's role correctly?
