NCF – Extended list of Neutral creatures.

Could you please advise? I installed the ncf mod, downloaded the megafile, and downloaded interesting characters from the Psatkha website. I extracted the archives and placed the pak files in the data folder. There were also dds icon files, but I don't know where to put them.
When I launch the game through the new ncf shortcut and try to create a random map, it crashes. In standard maps, the creatures appear, and everything seems normal.
