The Final Battle 9

The rules don't mention the "Cherk" map. Are the maps chosen the same way as in the official build, or differently? Does the color change? I also didn't understand the point of the skirmish. There are only 4 games in the entire official build using this template. But they removed "Spider," which had 24 games in the official build (for comparison, that's more than "CM," which was also kept).
