Again the start I did very well,gathered a lot of money for 2nd week (2 maxi crypts helped with that),and killed 33 mighty gorgons 122 for 10k xp,then 36 pit fiends for 20 crusader box.After that I took 8 cyclops from bank,2 more giants from shop,then another 3 giants from shop (lost some army here),then 2 more cyclop banks.After that I pretty much wasted my time until 3rd week,so lost a bit of tempo here.I took minimum tope 131 with small losses,but it gave water book.Then 8643 tope with 5 titans,which gave +10 power and air book.Lost some army here because of time pressure.After that I gathered some more army when suddenly opponent gives up.bo3 2:0 Thanks for playing!

The map is quite poor on artifacts; I had to take Dragon Utopia with low stats. Even with 5 cities, there wasn't enough one-hit meat left for padding. The giant stack was constantly being wiped out; hoping to get gold or meat in the box, I hit gorgons blindly—that wasn't the best idea. Army combat effectiveness decreased by 1 snake, 2 giants, and 4 cyclops. There was exp in the box.
In the end, having caught some luck in the form of КЗ and boots, practically under the opponent's nose, I decided to save moves for the portal home and giant upgrades. In a rush, I couldn't handle a max naga bank with 7 giants. If there had been even 6 ones—the fight would have been carried normally. Risk is noble, of course, but often this nobility borders on stupidity.

Otherwise, if the game were dragged out, decent prospects were emerging in case of grabbing stats from Dragon Utopia, or if I simply caught up in stats, the mobility advantage should have decided it. And scouting rules.

And I want to note that the opponent demonstrated very good skill. Perhaps there was some underestimation.

Just because Asm stopped updating doesn't mean BT is getting any worse. Why remember how good the balance was in BT if everything is so wonderful in SoD. That's exactly what I mean—it's funny to read these lamentations, given that no one is stopping anyone from playing BT.
