Player rating for tournaments across all installments of Heroes.

The results are interesting, but debatable. I personally didn't expect to see myself in such a position. In fact, I should be lower, much lower. Apparently, even this rating isn't a perfect solution.

Well, you're looking at the overall rating, but if you sort by average rating, you'll be where you need to be. But we also wanted to take activity into account. Let the strong players play as many tournaments as they want; no one is stopping them. In my opinion, it's fair that the overall rating is the primary factor. How would you determine the winner of the Kanighem tournament? If it were based on the average, why would the leader of the first tournament continue playing, just to lower their score?

But why?
Since this is a cumulative rating, the more games you play, the higher your rating... it's all correct... you're the last of those who played 6 games... I don't see any problem... because the overall rating, combined with the average rating, shows who's who... :D

And we've already discussed that the average rating also has its flaws. Now, let's say someone plays one game and gets 100 points, and then stops playing. They'll always be in first place :) compared to those who play every time but get 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. Is that fair? That's why we need to adjust the ratings to lower the ratings of players who are no longer playing or playing infrequently.

:) Let the leaders advocate for themselves. You don't want to understand that the leader gets 100 for their result. The better they are, the stronger they are, and the more they pull away from 2nd place, the less everyone else will get. Remember what Amber said about "lowering the bar"? Why would we need to do anything with that bar? This bar works in favor of the leader. The better their result is, and the greater their lead over everyone else, the lower the rating of everyone else compared to 100. How are they disadvantaged? It all depends on them and the results of the players following them. It's as fair as it can be :)
