RTF is a global modification that replaces all towns in the game.
Simple question - will I be able to play the 5th installment of the series normally with this mod right now (downloaded the files from the first page, installed it), or should I wait a bit longer? Thank you.
Well, I'm playing it:D Everything is fine with me, but there are still a few minor bugs.

I hope I can express my opinion and help you a little with the implementation of your work. I want to talk only about the creatures, because I used to be quite knowledgeable in mythology. 1. Humans: Angels and Dragons are essentially quite different, and it's not that easy to combine them. It's better to choose one of the two. Each of them has its own culture, and you need to build on that. 2. Elements (if I understand correctly): Phoenix and Mystic Eagle are the same thing, only in one culture it is called Phoenix, and in another - Simurgh (Mystic Eagle). 3. Necromancer: Fallen Angels are more associated with demons than with the undead. First, you need to determine what culture the race has and what its values are, and then choose the units. 4. Naga: Naga and Kirith +, but you could add a creature similar to an octopus. I think it would fit well with the atmosphere of sea creatures. 5. Magic Chimeras: an unclear race, which includes incompatible creatures. Perhaps the information I saw at the beginning of the discussion is outdated. 6. Dark Dwarves: I would put Abaasy in place of the Golems (Abaasy - in the folklore of the Yakut peoples, a huge stone monster with iron teeth. It lives in the depths of the forest, far from people, or underground. It is born from a black stone, resembling a child. As it grows older, the stone becomes more and more like a child. At first, the stone child eats everything that people eat, but when it grows up, it begins to eat people. Sometimes they are mentioned as anthropomorphic, one-eyed, one-handed, one-legged monsters the size of a tree. They feed on the souls of people and animals, tempt people, cause misfortunes and diseases, and can deprive them of their minds). And I would add Yetun (Giant). 7. Lizardmen: I can't say anything about them yet, because I need to look for them in mythology. I don't think a basilisk is such a powerful creature. 8. Mountain Orcs: Giants are big, Cyclops are big, but with one eye. Instead of Giants, you could add Rukh (Thunderbird). I hope I haven't offended anyone or hurt anyone's feelings, and if I have, I apologize. You are just trying to combine creatures that are difficult to reconcile with each other. And you end up with a mishmash of units in each castle.
1. Yes, angels and dragons are different, but they are creatures of the same element - avatar and chosen people, so they can help humans as followers of Erath.
2. The Mystic Eagle does not have the ability to be reborn, while the Phoenix does, so they are most likely different creatures.
3. In this case, some of the angels separated and joined the forces of darkness (the undead of Necros, Sandro, and the Mountain Orcs), but after the cataclysm, the angels took the initiative and captured several Necromancer citadels, and then, gathering an army of the undead, decided that they would no longer serve evil, but would rule themselves.
4. We just can't make a kraken; we don't have the materials, and we don't know what a similar skeleton would look like.
5. Originally, Magic Chimeras were supposed to be a race of mages and beastmen, but now it includes servants of darkness and various monsters because it was formed by the mages of the Chimera House, Lethos, and Kaspar.
6. Yes, I've heard of such creatures, but in the description, they were shapeless stone monsters, and the dwarves gave them a normal form.
7. In principle, a basilisk can look like a huge snake, a lizard, or even a mixture of a rooster and a snake, but we decided to make it like a dwarven dragon.
8. Yes, Rukh would fit well
