Here's another idea: I think it would be better to give "Preparation" to the Lizardmen and "Blood Fury" to the Humans – just rename it, and let it give points for defense.
For level 7, you could add Wendigo to the Chimera Mages.
Gnoll = Lizard Archer = Lizard Warrior = creatures of levels 5 and 6
If Humans are going to receive a bonus to defense, then all these flashy effects should be removed, and the skill should be given an appropriate name, like "Reinforced Position," but they will be vulnerable to Holy Word with this skill.
