Decided to save on centaurs and elves and instead use cheap archer units on the roads. First, I sacrificed two horses, thinking it would be okay; then I sacrificed two more horses and two more in the castle (I didn't have enough money to buy more). What a mess. There was a night elf lair, and Pandora cost 5,000 gold. Mephala was well-leveled.
