There are some negative aspects. Incorrect reports will be counted, such as when the wrong opponent is indicated, and they didn't even know. Or one person wrote a report as the winner, and the other as the loser. It's better if everyone confirms them; it's not that difficult. IMHO.

This happens rarely, but there are dozens of unconfirmed reports older than six months.

The main abuse is generating reports against "dead accounts" and, after a month, getting 1st place in the ranking for free.

This will be immediately visible.
In general, for now, in test mode, unconfirmed reports older than 30 days are being counted.
But they are still displayed in the list of unconfirmed reports. So, check this list for incorrect or "abusive" reports :D
