And, by the way, since I couldn't find the strength to finish "that very" story about Kvasik, here's a brief plot: barbarians from another country successfully captured a scientist from a laboratory developing a new generation of neutron weapons. Then, they failed to reach an agreement with the country's president and detonated a super bomb, which triggered a chain reaction and turned a large, most populated part of the state into uninhabitable ruins. The rest was finished by peaceful neighbors and anarchy. Ta-da.
I wanted to smoothly lead up to this while Actea slowly decayed, then I changed my mind, then I wanted to again, but it just didn't work out.
